Born in 2004, from the ashes of instrumental kings ACTARUS, Luxembourg's TREASURE CHEST AT THE END OF THE RAINBOW combine precise angularities with a sweet taste for captivating melodies. Their love for pop music and epic soundscapes brings the energy and emergency of a challenging post/hc act. 4 gents, that have been playing together for a long time, in bands like, Tiger Fernandez and Actarus. They recorded 4 songs in March 2005 at Kulturfabrik in Esch/Alzette (LUX), for the first split ever on New Romance for Kids, with friends Mutiny on the Bounty.

Drummer Max Niles presents TCATEOTR like this: (...) it's all about mutual desires, passion, love, friendship, excitement, fun, sharing, giving/receiving, meeting new people... living. In an interview for “Le Quotidien” (LUX), the daily paper vaguely pigenholds the band as “math-rock with indie tendencies, simple yet complex, an easy listen but hard to describe.” Whatever that means, TCATEOTR are not reinventing post/hc, but are tearing trough it like party animals.

The TCATEOTR/ New Romance for Kids relation started while a band on the label was on tour in Europe, they discovered Actarus, and brought back a CD. We where blown away and started working with “The Schalltot Collective”. Actarus (nrk-007, Actarus S/T) have now split in 2 bands: TCATEOTR and Mutiny on the Bounty. Here to stay, the boys are playing a popular genre, leaving most of their American peers to shame.

je suis pas toujours très bon pour qualifier ce que j'écoute et puis il vaut mieux écouter que vous faire un long discours... en tout les cas les fans d'indie collège rock us à la get up, texas is the reason and co y trouverons leur bonheur

seul petit défaut (que JE trouve) c'est qu'on dirait que des fois le chanteur force trop sur sa voix
