another tape that had a long way to its release. i first talked to steve from i shit robots about it shortly after with the eyes of conrad veidt recorded their first material. to that time i shit robots (known as i shit rainbows) had also their first recordings up. after some line up changes finaly this split will be released. with the eyes of conrad veidt start the split on side a with their intense drumcomputer driven techgrind. dissonant riffs and high and deep vocals with a lot of blast beats. these recordings are older than their material from the self titled heartshaped cdr that we released. 5 songs from them. on the b side i shit robots will release their experimentel goregrind / cybergrind. intelligent drum programming plus good guitarwork and killer vocals. good songs. 7 songs from them. amazing artwork by [c]aptain terror.

oh well i know a lot of people that waited for that tape. the tapes starts with go with fourteen O from sweden that are into digital nintendo game sound screamo that got some awesome melodies in it and is a blast on stage. 2 songs from them. next is the groovy orphanage from germany wich is a disturbing mix of child toy melodie synth drama and harsh 8 bit grindcore with totaly high vocals. 8 songs from them. side b starts with berlins kids on crack wich are blast beats and nintendo sounds plus screaming. the newer material is more harsh than the demo material and the songs are not much longer than 30 seconds. 13 songs from them. the last band on that tape is my mouth is full of dropkicking astronauts wich broke up a while ago. on that last release you find songs that are more grindcore than his previous material. not that much techno midi stuff inside the songs, its more harsh synth stuff. good vocals also. 9 songs from him. tapes are spraypainted in grey.

an other awesome split tape between two great techgrind bands. blood on a weddings dress are from malaysia and play rad technical dissonant grindcore wich will blow you away. 3 songs from them. YCHYCWNA are from the us and do insane weirdo hardcore / grind with lots of trash. 5 songs by them. this split came also out on altima entertainment as a cd. the first 40 copies come with green artwork the rest is with blue one.

Watch out for the bands you're releasing stuff of dude. A German friend of mine you might know started his label and had a release planned for a band he found on myspace. Someone found out the band had pretty Christian and conservative lyrics (anti-abortion stuff and whatnot) and obviously, my friend didn't check that before, so the kid posted about it on plenty of message boards and now my friend's label, even though he releases some cool stuff that is appreciated by everyone and about whom people even talk on this messageboard is now kinda known as "the-dude-who-releases-myspace-bands" and some bad jokes about it come out pretty often. It sucks because he does some very good job but it almost killed his label when he started it and it destroyed all its credibility.

I could also tell you about what happened to the American dude who started his label by releasing a You Can't Hug Your Children With Nuclear Arms split CDR with an other band of this kind and wanted to sell them for 10 bucks. I'm not sure whether he kept doing his "label" but what's for sure is that jokes about it are also made really often.

Just saying...

I can picture myself listening to those tapes in my car on my way to the nursery.

hey thanks for the words and warnings .. well i know what you mean but to be honest i didnt care if some people on message boards do jokes because thats normal i think ... i release what i want to release ... and if people would say i only release myspace bands i wouldnt care cause i like the stuff im releasing ... also if some people wouldnt buy/trade/ steal whatever i dont mind that much cuase there are enough people out there that still buy / trade with me ... i apreciate your warnings ...
but i dont care about what other people say ... especialy when its on messageboards ... you know who dont likes the label can do that ... i dont mind ...
