After a longer time of preparation we finally can present you two nice new releases. No. 1: the new (first real) full lenght of our friends KOM from Germany. They have recorded 12 unique new pearls and Nick again did an amazing packaging job: we're offering 100 pieces as a very special limited completely hand assembled book. Further details below. No. 2: finally available on vinyl: the JENIFEREVER - IRIS record from 2004. Strictly limited to 500 pieces.

"KOM are back with their first real full length. The new record BERRY WHITE doesn't change their opinion about music and how they want to reach people – but with these new 12 songs they maybe get the attention of a wider audience they deserve. You still can't talk about 12 single songs because this record again just makes sense if you look at it as a whole piece of art. It's the homogeneity of artwork (a very limited handmade book fort the vinyl version/handprinted cardboard sleeves for the cd version), lyrics, interludes and the real songs which makes the record unique and outstanding. They still write and play those little pieces of art far away from established genre clichés. You can call it a mixture of indie-rock, singer songwriter or postrock – but all of these bromides don't fit at all. They're very influenced by old 60's film music – but don't sound like that. They like to listen to ROBERT WYATT, HARMONIA or RADIOHEAD – but they don't copy them. They're just KOM – four guys from three cities in Germany who visit a small cottage in the woods every 2nd year to write a new refreshing and outstanding record..."

JENIFEREVER – IRIS LP

"It may be just a four-track EP but don’t whatever you do think this is a ‘quick-spin-while-getting-ready-to-go-out’ job. Clocking in at no less than 37 minutes Jeniferever are a band all-too-fluent in the art of drawing out a song and building upon it wonderfully expressive Sigur Ros-esque art-scapes. As you begin to absorb such delicate waves of sound you start to view their music more as works of art, where, in 'White Belt, Black Heart' especially, ebbing strings and flowing bursts of colour are shaded warmly while evocations of long-treasured emotions are given chance to unfold once more. (...) Without getting too poetic about it, 'Iris' is simply a beautiful record that you'll find caressing your hangover time and time again."
