First of all a huge thanks you to all the people that preordered the SELAXON LUTBERG/SUBINTERIOR 2xLP and the FALL OF EFRAFA BOX/DVD. The test pressings for the 2xLP are confimed and the records should be ready to ship in one or two weeks. The box and the Dvd are hopefully ready in the 2nd week of february.

MOUSE ON THE KEYS – AN ANXIOUS OBJECT 10''+CD/CD





Mouse on the Keys is a jazzy instrumental trio from Tokyo, Japan. They partly used to play in "Nine Days Wonder" (a leading band of the Japanese post-rock scene) some years ago: Akira Kawasaki (drum, keyboards) and Atsushi Kiyota (piano, keyboards), along with Daisuke Niitome (piano, keyboards), who has played drums and composed music for jazz-funk/hiphop bands. The unique sound of the band’s drums, two pianos and two keyboards combines the urgent '90s American posthardcore with early/contemporary classical, jazz and various electronic music. At their concerts, the band projects a variety of images chosen to match their soundviews of Tokyo, geometric symbols, 3D objects, and abstractions. “The drums are fantastic, the piano smooth and the other instruments masterfully used to make this record 22 minutes of bliss; it's great to see that a band is able to live up to the amazingly awesome fusion that jazz and post rock entails in my head. I give this EP 10/10, which I don't do very often at all so... check out this album.”

SANKT OTTEN – MORGEN WIEDER LUSTIG LP+CD/CD







Sankt Otten's fourth album sees the duo’s sound evolving once again, while retaining the undeniable hallmarks of atmosphere, melodic dexterity and depth. “Morgen wieder lustig” employs stacks of luscious synthesizers, with knowing nods to fellow Germans Kraftwerk and Klaus Schulze, alongside Oliver Klemm's hallmark soaring guitar drones and Stephan Otten’s unmistakable rhythms. While their early sonic experiments explored the brooding and frayed edges of ambient, post-rock and jazz, these new songs push this relationship to a new level. Morgen wieder lustig shifts from the head-rush ambience of 'Das bezahlte Lob' to the dark and twisted post-jazz of 'Fromme Lügen'. Just when you think you have the album pegged, 'X für U' drags you on a melancholic, Klaus Schulze-inspired sc-fi odyssey.

Three brand new songs as a forerunner for the upcoming first full lenght of this amazing UK collective. Formed some years ago out of a desire to create music that had a more emotional core, Her Name is Calla have since expanded to a six piece, seven if you include occasional addition of cello. The music they make is the music they want to make. Encapsulating brass, strings, pianos, oddities and anything else at their disposal, they craft songs and music that have a heart. That heart may not always be the one people are used to, not the bright red shining symbol of love and hope, but a heart somehow more personal.

Je connaissais pas, c'est très classe "Mouse On The Keys"!

Je suis grave fan de Nine Days Wonder, j'ai pas cherché à comprendre. Pas trop ma came d'habitude, la musique de MOTK. Mais là, je trouve qu'ils le font mieux que les autres.

Pour ma part j'ai commencé avec leur album, le premier morceau est vraiment très classe mais j'ai peu écouté le reste, par contre leur EP est géant, je sais plus comment c'est maintenant mais à l'époque le batteur faisait du piano en même temps qu'il jouait de la batterie.
